Who is Momina?

We met Momina in 2013. Her father and brother brought her 8 hours from Afar, Ethiopia to the capital city, Addis Ababa. You can see her natural beauty but her body was functioning poorly. By the time she was playing with me, she lost the ability to sit up. It was as if life was taking her away. Actually her heart was only operating with 25% oxygen. It became so serious, when her appointment time came, the doctor team considered immediate surgery. THANK GOD they put her in ICU and gave her 48 hours to increase her ability to withstand open heart surgery. She was SAVED by the Mending Kids Pediactric Cardiology team! The next day she was able to walk and 48 hours later joined the Celebration party with a smile.
